A MASTERPIECE

 A MASTERPIECE

An Art Gallery:

The main room has a charcoal drawing, a type of clouds, painted on the wall.
The second room has a wall made of bricks joined to some smooth walls painted in different colours.
In general. nothing impressive, except the blue eyes.
In fact, when you enter the gallery nobody seems to be there, you feel as if you
were alone. But when you move your eyes to the counter you are likely to see a
girl with blonde reddish bangs looking back at you.
She has become an expert of hiding herself thanks to a high counter made for this purpose.
Consequently, not only do gallery attendants avoid being  continuously exposed to other people´s glances,
but also their working place is kept out of sight.

There, a young woman works on her big computer which is fitted into the opposite side of the counter. Next to her, some books, papers and also a plate with left-overs.
I dare say that she is another victim of the system. She is not being allowed to eat out of this place even though there is a door that leads to a cafeteria in the same gallery, just opposite her.
When I left I wondered how many workers, also foreigners, she is from Ucrania, are working here under the rules of a savage job market.
But her blue eyes, her splendid gleaming blue eyes, peering at visitors over the counteris the most exquisite work of art I saw in that gallery , a masterpiece.
